The Colour of Summer
A one day master workshop facilitated by our resident artist Liz Jackson. We spent the day mixing ink, to contribute to a collection of colours named by East London Printmaker’s members. And best of all we all get to keep a copy of the first volume of Atelier Jackson’s Colour of Summer Series.

ELP members joined Trees for Cities (right: CEO Graham Simmonds) and residents of the Manchester Estate in East London for a day of planting a new green area which ELP helped to raise funds for with their art auction “Urban Jungle” at City Hall in November 2008.
The Mayor of Tower Hamlets opened the day. The choice of plants for the new green area was made by Trees for Cities after carrying out close consultation with the estate’s residents.
